SEARCHING FOR STARS is a 360º INTERACTIVE DOCUGAME (hybrid between game and documentary) FOR WEB BROWSER. The Experience USES GAMIFICATION TO PLACE THE Public AT THE CENTER OF DECISIONS. IN THE EXPERIENCE, THE PARTICIPANT IS PART OF A TEAM OF ASTRONOMERS, FILMMAKERS AND SCIENCE COMMUNICATORS THAT GO TO THE saharawi REFUGEE CAMPS to SEARCH for A STAR SPECIALIST WHO CAN TELL HIM STORIES ABOUT HIS/her WOELDVIEW. DURING THE SEARCHING FOR STARS, THE PUBLIC TRAVEL across the refugee camp talking with TEACHERS, STUDENTS, POLITICS AND LOCAL LEADERS. THROUGH THE TESTIMONIES OF THESE PEOPLE, THE PLAYER LEARNS ABOUT THE CONDITION OF saharawi REFUGEES AND THEir worldview .
THE DOCUGAME BEGINS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT WHERE THE NARRATIVE AND CONTEXT ARE INTRODUCED. IN THE FOLLOWING SCENE, THE PARTICIPANT is PRESENTed To THE his/her ROLE AND PURPOSE WITHIN THE GAME. THE NARRATIVE STARTS INSIDE TAWALO TRUCK, AN EX-WAR FIGHTER WHO USES THE STARS TO GUIDE THROUGH THE COLD NIGHTS OF THE DESERT. AFTER LISTENING TO AN AUDIO APPROXIMATELY TWO MINUTES WHILE THE CAR RUNS THROUGH THE SHOPPING CENTER OF ONE OF THE WILAYAS (CAMPS), THE PARTICIPANTE CAN CHOOSE IF WANT TO GO TO A MEETING at the PROTOCOL CENTER OR GO TO THE HAMDI'S HOUSE TO DRINK TEA. EACH OPTION TAKES USER TO A DIFFERENT STORY. AFTER EACH SCENE, THE PARTICIPANT HAS TWO OR MORE OPTIONS, AND CHOOSES WHICH PATH HE/SHE PREFERS TO FOLLOW.
